Hills Road divides its sports into 3 main categories; competitive, representative and enrichment.

  • Competitive sports:  those that are played at a competitive level and involve weekly, coach-led training sessions. (e.g – rugby, netball)
  • Representative sports: teams compete in major competitions for the college but do not have any regular training. Usually competitors in these sports are part of an outside club  (e.g – athletics – Cambridge and Coleridge Athletics Club).
  • Enrichment opportunities: these are sports which students can partake in as part of their timetabled enrichment programme. Enrichment sports range from judo to cheerleading and are a good way to get involved with college sport at a non-competitive, social level.
